Some folk remedies are just strange, and some are just wrong, but I have found a few that work great! In pregnancy there is nothing worse that the sharp or tugging pains women get in their lower abdomen during the early second trimester. What can be most frustrating is the lack of knowing exactly what is causing the pains! But often it is something simple your gyno will refer to as round Round ligament syndrome. The round ligaments begin at the top of the uterus just in front of where your fallopian tube enters the uterus. The round ligaments are several inches long in your abdomen, and then they go into the canal at the junction of your leg and lower abdomen.
