Ovarian Cancer Might Be A Fallopian Tube Cancer Afterall
Women worry about that silent cancer which occurs from the ovaries, and is often diagnosed late in the stage of disease. But in fact Fallopian Tube Cancer is now thought to possibly be the source of most of the pelvic high grade cancers. This is an important point to remember if you are having a hysterectomy. Women talk about whether to keep the ovaries, but they forget that it is possible to remove the fallopian tubes, and actually leave the ovaries. Just removing the fallopian tubes will reduce your risk of a future pelvic cancer.
